The modern and architecturally interesting building is located on the edge of the National Park, and its exhibition is a perfect complement to walks and bicycle rides in the Park. The center aims to present the natural and cultural values of the “Warta Mouth” area. Numerous interactive stands, charts, models or the aforementioned models (e.g. a river bank or a beaver lodge) will allow visitors to learn about the local fauna and flora. One of the most interesting stations is the aforementioned virtual balloon flight over the floodplain, made possible thanks to a set of 12 high-end multimedia projectors, projecting the image on the walls and space below the visitors. In addition, visitors will be able to participate in a virtual boat cruise and see walls of LCD monitors, each over 5 m2 in size, presenting multimedia materials prepared especially for the Museum and Education Center. It is also worth noting the aquarium with a capacity of 3.5 thousand liters, filled with species of fish found in the Park.
The Museum and Education Center of the “Mouth of the Warta River” National Park is a unique exhibition space, combining traditional exhibits and models with innovative multimedia solutions. It is also worth noting that the exhibition project was created in consultation with the construction project. Thanks to that, there was room for such unique spaces as those housing the “Balloon flight” stands or the aquarium.
The facility meets all modern standards and is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities and people with reduced mobility. The facility is free of architectural barriers, sanitary facilities have the required amenities, while for the blind and visually impaired visitors audio guides with audio description have been prepared.
